Geographic Coverage

To sustain the CVEP interventions, Cereal Growers Association will work in 4 of the CVEP counties.

  • Makueni
  • Tharaka Nithi
  • Embu

Implementation period : 6 months (August 2018-February 2019).

Target beneficiaries/partners – small scale farmers.

Project Targets to have 2,500 small scale farmers trained on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Climate Smart Agriculture and agri-preneurship.

Target value chains : Sorghum and Green gram

The focus of the next phase of interventions will be improving productivity and enhancing market access for the participating farmers.
