Cereal Value Chain Development (CVCD) Project
This project is supported by French Development Agency (AFD) in partnership with Fert. Fert is a French association for international cooperation for agricultural development in developing and emerging countries.

- Uasin Gishu from 2019
Implementation period: 3 years (2018-2020).
The partnership focuses on improving cereal farmers’ income and livelihood with two specific objectives;
- Improving membership services performance
- Strengthening Cereal Growers Association (CGA) as an apex farmers’ organization
Target beneficiaries/partners – high potential commercial farmers including large scale, medium and small commercial farmers.
Target value chains : Maize, wheat, barley, sorghum and assorted pulses.
Further, CVCD has supported a study aimed at improving CGA’s service offering strategy.
