WHO IS CGA
MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
Welcome to Cereal Growers Association (CGA)!
Since its establishment in 1996, our mandate has been to represent and promote the business interests of Kenyan farmers in the grain and related value chains for sustained improvement of their farming enterprises and address industry challenges. Our service delivery is built around four pillars: Farmer Representation, Technical Support, Economic Linkages, and Information Sharing.
Currently, CGA’s area of focus is on sustainable farming, access to markets, policy advocacy with youth-in-agriculture, digitization, and improved household nutrition as cross-cutting interventions.
In carrying out our mandate, CGA collaborates with various public and private sector partners, including national government departments, agencies, and county governments. Key private sector partners include the Agriculture Sector Network (ASNET), the Agrochemical Association of Kenya (aak-GROW), the Seed Trade Association of Kenya (STAK), and the East African Grain Council (EAGC).

Join us as we collectively strive to transform the Kenyan agriculture sector into a sustainably profitable and rewarding experience for improved food and nutrition security. Together, we are Stronger! Together, we Achieve More! Together, We Grow!
