The County Government of Nandi, led by Governor Stephen Arap Sang, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cereal Growers Association (CGA), represented by CEO Anthony Kioko. The agreement aims to strengthen partnership and execute collaborative initiatives for improving food and nutrition security in the region.
Key CGA initiatives in Nandi County include the Agroforestry Project in partnership with Rabobank, and the Promotion of Sustainable Farming Practices and Inclusive Markets supported by AGRA. These initiatives focus on boosting agribusiness through capacity building, technology transfer, market linkages, and policy advocacy.
